A five-day Bengal business conclave of MSMEs – SYNERGY MSME 2013 for empowering Bengal’s Enterprise has been organized by MSSE & T Department, Govt. of West Bengal during the period from 16-21 September, 2013 to offer multi-dimensional, interactive and customized solutions to the business needs of the state’s MSMEs.

The West Bengal Khadi & Village Industries Board has had effective participation for making the SYNERGY MSME 2013 a grand success. The focus areas of participation are enunciated below:-

Imparted training on :
(a).Design Development of Khadi Fabric
(b).Technology Development of Khadi Fabric
(c). Market Development & Export Orientation 

Displayed the following  in the Technology Pavilion  :- 
(i). Jacquard Loom for weaving Baluchari, (ii).Computer Operated Stitching and Sewing Machine, (iii). Machine Operated Reeling-cum-Twisting Machine, (iv). Improved Tool Kit for Bamboo Craft

Displayed the following  in the World of MSME in Bengal Pavilion  :- 
(i).High Count Muslin Charkha, (ii).High Count Muslin Loom and accessories, (iii).High Count Muslin Fabric passing through Ring

Set up Clinics on Khadi & V.I. and Help Desk at Hall No.4 & 1 respectively on behalf of WBKVIB
